Therapeutic Arts combines the creative process with trained clinical insight and guidance to help individuals explore feelings, reduce anxiety, improve self-esteem, and process difficult life experiences.

You don’t need to be an artist. The focus of Therapeutic Arts is not on the end product but on what the creative process reveals and how it can support emotional growth and healing.

What is the Therapeutic Arts process treatment?

 

 

Therapeutic Arts Process is treatment that uses the creative process of artmaking alongside the skills of a trained psychotherapist to support healing and wellness. Individuals are invited to use a variety of materials—such as drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, written words, music, photography and more—to explore their inner world in a safe and supportive space.

Art becomes a language of its own. For many clients, especially those who find verbal expression difficult, the act of creating provides a nonverbal way to access emotions, process trauma, or develop new perspectives.

Sessions are tailored to the individual’s needs and comfort level, blending creative activities with therapeutic conversation and reflection.
